It is a quick reference on a wide range of dermatologic diseases--including concise clinical information on diagnostic features, lab findings and practical management as well as key surgical anatomy and pearls on lasers, basic science and pharmacology. I am an internal medicine resident. I bought this book when I was an PGY-1. It was the best book I've ever bought during my residency. The book has useful tables and diagrams especially when you are oncall and need a quick reference. The dermatology section is excellent for the Internal Medicine Board. I highly recommend this book for medical students and residents.

I am recently out of residency and I think this is a great pocket reference. I truly wish that I had this as a dermatology resident, especially when I was studying for the board exam. I think that primary care physicians who see a lot of dermatologic problems would benefit from having this book as well.
